Impact: A training programme was organized in China aimed at facilitating the exchange of approaches for constructing informatization infrastructures in the context of urbanization. The training consisted of lectures, workshops and site visits with a view to identifying best practices on informatization development, recognize concrete ways on how to use information technology to promote urban development and exchange views on how to balance the environment and social development in the era of information, and deifine strategies that promote smart city development.
