17.2. during Plenary on UNOV matters, also UNIDO matters were dealt with: G-77 and China – UNIDO Joint Development Initiative in Central America, the project proposal on skills training and entrepreneurship development for school leavers in Central America (Honduras, Guatemala and Nicaragua) was endorsed. The project involves developing the entrepreuneurship skills of 150 school leavers in the food-processing sector in Central America and is a continuation of an existing ongoing UNIDO project US/CAM/97/140. The implementation of such programmes gives the G-77 and China a new approach towards the new functions of the Group and at the same time of the G-77 Liaison Office.
